Advanced modes and techniques
Enjoy easy tempo-perfect drum loop integration into your song, or create unique sounds with the per-step tape stop/start effect, a classic DJ technique of instantly stopping or starting playback.
Using all 16 kits on the same track
With the introduction of the DNA feature, it is possible to use the DNA value to choose the US.01-US.16 kit per-step.
Please see the DNA documentation on how to use the DNA feature in general, then;
- For patch A set 1/Cd/WavE/"WavE tyPE" to US.01 for both osc1 and osc2.
- For patch B set 1/Cd/WavE/"WavE tyPE" to US.16 for both osc1 and osc2.
You can now use the DNA value to switch kits per step (the next kit is selected for every 8 DNA value interval).
