MacOS users can use the built-in MIDI over BLE support.

• Locate and launch the Audio MIDI Set-up app
• Choose Window > Show MIDI Studio.
• In the MIDI Studio window, click the Configure Bluetooth button (Bluetooth icon) in the toolbar.
• Connect with device WOOVEBOX-xxxx or - if you are running a very old version - woove.

Some versions of macOS have a bug where the OS hangs on to stale/old devices. If you have trouble connecting, please see if your Woovebox already exists under Bluetooth devices. Remove any old/stale entries (the macOS interface for this itself may be buggy as well). Then try connecting again via the method above.

If you have "partial" success where you can make a connection, but the connection stalls early, then your machine is likely throttling the Bluetooth connection for - misguided - power management reasons. Try running your device connected to its power adapter, rather than from battery, and/or disable power management settings for Bluetooth.

Finally, if you are updating from a very old version of the firmware, and the update stalls in the high 90s (for example "rcv 99"), your mac's hyrbid Bluetooth/WiFi radio is dropping packets ("collision"). Move your Woovebox closer to your mac, and turn off WiFi once the updating process begins. In general, try reducing 2.4GHz traffic (WiFi, Bluetooth) in the vicinity as much as possible.
